This 4 days tour to Moscow can be a good start for your Big Russian Journey. Your Moscow guide will take you to the most important sites and museums. You will see New Maiden Monastery where Russian tsars got used to put their "unwanted" wifes. You will have tour to the Moscow Kremlin and around the Red square. On Arbat street you will see lots of artists and their art objects.
When these 4 days are over we can take you to St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan or to the Trans Siberian railway adventure.

    Prices are valid during weekends Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday, weekdays tours are at supplement.

  • In 1516 the Kremlin turned ... into an island. This happened after the construction of the Alevizov ditch, which ran along the border of the Red Square and connected the Moskva River and the Neglinka River. The Kremlin was surrounded by water for three centuries till 1814.
  • In the 17 and 18 centuries, there were several hanging gardens in the Kremlin, modelled on the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. There were veges and even trees growing as well as flowers and berry bushes.
  • The Moscow Kremlin is the largest fortress on the European and Asian continents. Its total area is about 27 hectares. The length of the Kremlin walls is 2 km 235 m. Marienburg fortress, Poland is in second place (21 hectares) and Bam Fortress, Iran is in third with tiny 180.000 sq m.
  • The architectural complex of the Moscow Kremlin houses 20 towers, 5 squares and 18 buildings including 8 places of worship (cathedrals and churches), 6 palaces, the Bell Tower, Arsenal, the Armory and the Military School.
  • Tere was a myth that not a single bomb fell on the Kremlin during the Great Patriotic War. But it is not true. During the raids of the fascist aviation 150 incendiary bombs and 15 land mines was dropped on the Kremlin.
  • The clock on the Spasskaya Tower is the oldest in Europe and the only one completely mechanical chimes in the world. The total weight of the mechanism, excluding bells, is 25 tons.
