Gilbert Becaud song «Natalie» was an inspiration for Andrei Dellos to create the charming place Café Pushkin.
Restaurant opened its doors at 1999 at XIX century mansion, located on Tverskoy bulevard, close to Pushkinskaya square.
Till nowadays visit here is a must (popularity required previous booking). Exquisite wooden interior with vintage furniture and antiques meet a guest at each room — Pharmacy, Library, Balcony.
Menu offers Russian nobility cuisine and perfect choice of vodkas. Perfect place to try beef-stroganoff, borsch soup and honey cake.
Of course, the bill for dinner at this restaurant will be above average, so this is the place for a special occasion.
For example, after a performance at the Bolshoi Theater (Theater is 5 minutes away). The restaurant is open until late at night(especially on Fridays and Saturdays).
If you don't want to spend a lot on food, you can always visit this place for coffee and sweets in the daytime or for a light lunch. You will enjoy the atmosphere and dishes and make nice photos.
