This tour starts in the capital of the Romanov Empire, St. Petersburg. At the airport you will be met by a personal driver. Your acquaintance with the city will begin the next day with a sightseeing tour. The high-speed train Sapsan will take you to the capital of Russia - Moscow in 4.5 hours. You will visit Red Square and the Kremlin. You will see the treasury of Russia - the Armory Chamber. Your tour includes an excursion to the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, which is located 70 km. from Moscow.

PETER AND PAUL FORTRESS

On Zayachy Island, along the banks of the Neva, stands the Peter and Paul Fortress — the very place where St. Petersburg began in 1703. ST. ISAAC'S CATHEDRAL

St. Isaac’s Cathedral is the grandest and most opulent church in St. Petersburg, crowned with a golden dome that glows above the city skyline. THE STATE HERMITAGE MUSEUM

The State Hermitage Museum is one of the world’s greatest art museums and the crown jewel of St. Petersburg. Founded by Catherine the Great in 1764, it now holds over 2.7 million treasures — from ancient Egyptian artifacts to masterpieces by Da Vinci, Rembrandt, Monet, Van Gogh, and Matisse. Catherine Palace

Catherine Palace in Pushkin is a true gem of Russian baroque — grand, gilded, and unforgettable. Inside awaits the famous Amber Room, a dazzling masterpiece once called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Every hall, every detail here breathes history, splendor, and the legacy of the Romanovs.

The Amber Room

The Amber Room is the only hall in the world entirely decorated with amber, covering an area of about 100 m². Lost during World War II, it was meticulously reconstructed by Russian craftsmen in 2003 for the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg. Over 6 tons of amber, gold, mirrors, and intricate carvings make this room a true gem of the Catherine Palace.

The Yusupov Palace

The Yusupov Palace on the Moika River is one of the few places in St. Petersburg where the aristocratic life of the past truly comes alive. Lavish interiors, a unique 18th-century private theatre, and authentic princely chambers preserve the spirit of a bygone era. Each hall here feels like a page from the noble history of Russia.

The Novodevichy Convent

The Novodevichy Convent — also known as the New Maidens Convent — is one of Moscow’s most iconic landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Closely tied to Russia’s royal and religious history, it once served as a residence for noblewomen, a place of worship, and later a museum. With stunning architecture, ornate interiors, and a rich collection of art and relics, it offers a deep dive into Russia’s cultural legacy.

RED SQUARE

Red Square has been the heart of Russia for centuries — a place where history lives and breathes. From the colorful domes of 16th-century St. Basil’s Cathedral to the stark lines of Lenin’s Mausoleum, every corner of the square tells a story. It’s one of the most iconic places in the world and a powerful symbol of Russia’s rich and complex past.

SERGIEV POSAD

Sergiev Posad, once the spiritual heart of Russia, offers a glimpse into the country’s rich religious heritage and the charm of small-town life. At its center lies the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius — one of Russia’s most important monasteries, founded in the mid-14th century and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. With over 50 beautifully preserved buildings, this stunning architectural ensemble is a true treasure of Russian culture.

faq: WHAT IS SAPSAN TRAIN LIKE?

The Sapsan TRAIN, named after a bird of prey capable of speeds over 322 km / h, made its first commercial voyage on December 17, 2009, and has been operating on the route all year round ever since. Depending on how many stops the train makes, travel times range from 3:30 to 4:15 hours.
The technologies used to create Sapsan take into account the realities of the Russian climate, so the message does not stop even at temperatures below -40 ° C❄. Approximately once every five days, these trains must undergo technical inspection.
So today, traveling by Sapsan between cities is easy (up to 10 trains per day), fast (faster than by plane, taking into account the time to the airport and the registration procedure) and at a reasonable price.
