Electronic Visa

Since 2023, the electronic visa (e-visa) has been available — a very convenient way to travel to Russia.

No need to visit embassies or fill out paper forms — everything is done online, even from your sofa, in 20 minutes or less.

What is an e-visa to Russia? - It’s:

  • an online document for entering Russia
  • valid for a stay of up to 16 days
  • issued in a maximum of 4 days
  • costs only $52
  • no invitations or extra documents needed

What do you need? - Just three things:

  1. A passport (valid for at least 6 more months)
  2. A photo of your face (a selfie on a white background is fine)
  3. Medical insurance (just like in many countries)

How to apply? - Very simple

Here’s the official Russian MFA website: 👉 https://electronic-visa.kdmid.ru There, you need to:

  • select your country (Visa check list)
  • upload your passport and photo
  • pay by card
  • receive the visa by email

That’s it! The whole process takes about 15–20 minutes or less

Where can I enter Russia?

E-visas are accepted at all major airports, including:

  • St. Petersburg (Pulkovo)
  • Moscow (Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo)
  • Vladivostok, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Sochi, and more
  • Full list — on the website.
